Sandra Wirtz (Fabry)

Sandra Wirtz (Fabry) serves as Director of Research at the American Resources Policy Network. As a public affairs consultant, she has worked extensively on issues including IT and telecommunications, energy, defense, and healthcare. Sandra has more than ten years’ experience engaging with policy makers at all levels of government, as well as academics, think tanks and grassroots organizations across the United States.

She previously served as Executive Director of the Center for Fiscal Accountability, which has since been rebranded as the Cost of Government Center at Americans for Tax Reform, an organization advocating for fiscal restraint and limited government. From 2004 to 2010, she was a Contributing Editor for Heartland Institute’s Budget & Tax News monthly.

Sandra’s op-eds have been published in various national and international publications. Co-author of ‘KRITIS – International Activities in the Area of Critical Infrastructure Protection’ (2003), Sandra is a graduate of the University of Bonn, Germany, where she earned her Master’s degree in Political Science.
